Computability and Randomness

I am Stephen G. Simpson, a mathematician at the Pennsylvania State University.

During May 23-28, 2010 I was planning to attend the 5th Conference on Logic, Computability and Randomness, held at Notre Dame University. As part of the conference I was planning to give an invited plenary talk on Degrees of Unsolvability and Symbolic Dynamics. My slides are available in several formats: PDF, PS.

Unfortunately, due to illness, I was unable to attend the conference. However, Alexander Shen gave my talk for me.

A list of my recent and upcoming talks is available.

My publication list is available.
