Math 574: Topics in Logic and Foundations

I am Stephen G. Simpson, a Professor of Mathematics at Penn State University.

Math 574 is a special topics course in mathematical logic and foundations of mathematics. The content of Math 574 may be different each time it is offered. The purpose of Math 574 is to present advanced material which does not fit into our standard logic courses.

Math 574 is suitable for students who have taken at least one graduate-level course in mathematical logic, e.g., our Math 557 or Math 558.

Here are some course materials.

Also of interest is the Penn State Logic Seminar.
